fashion is a huge part of my life and personality. the way i dress from style to color, reflects how i’m feeling that day. i photographed myself for 100 days in 100 different outfits (mostly thrifted). this project initially started as documentation of my time as an intern in detroit. but after day 10, it became a challenge to myself to continue documenting for 100 days in 100 outfits. i use fashion as a way to express myself and relate to others as well as to get inspiration from others. it was a challenge everyday to create a new outfit, but it was a lot of fun too.
I photographed 20 people, friends and strangers, that were diverse in ethnicity, gender, and age. The series showcases how I see people when I meet them for the first time. I'm a visual person, so I tend to notice what most people disregard; such as unique facial/body attributes that people have. Depending on the person, I might first notice the eyes, nose, fingers, or mouth. But I tend to be drawn more to the mouth.

A photography piece that plays with 2D and 3D elements. With this piece, I wanted to experiment with the idea of dimensionality. I cut and weaved together photos from my pervious series "Untiled." The further you are from the piece, the more 3D it became. Once coming closer, the image would be distorted due to the weaving. This piece was featured in Wayne State University's 2016 Undergraduates Exhibition.
